Terms from partial denture to trauma.
Pocket depth, the distance between the upper margin of the gum and the base of the periodontal pocket. The term is used in connection with gum disease. The distance is measured with a periodontal probe. Pocket depths of up to about 2 mm are still regarded as harmless; greater depths should be treated, since they can no longer be cleaned from outside and periodontitis becomes a risk.

Partial denture, fitted either fixed or removable. It consists of a gum-coloured acrylic base in which acrylic teeth are anchored in the position of the missing teeth, so forming a row.
Titanium, a silvery-white, high-grade metal. Titanium has proved to be exceptionally well tolerated biologically and is accepted like the body's own tissue. Because of its great strength and durability it is used in dentistry as the base material for implants. implants
Transplantation, the grafting of tissue such as skin, bone or organs.
